Form is temporary, class is permanent, which we are hearing since childhood but it doesn’t apply to our Telugu film industry where producers and heroes run behind or for directors who are in great form delivering hit films. Every hero tries to be in great form scoring blockbusters, minting good profits for producers and buyers. Ram Pothineni, who is trying to be in good form but it is failing with the story choices he is making. He scored a blockbuster with Kishore Tirumala in the form of “Nenu Sailaja” and acted a film under Santosh Srinivas in the name of “Hyper” which disappointed fans and movie buffs with its routine content. Now he is back with “Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi”, under the direction of Kishore Tirumala again. Let’s see how it works on us. *Spoilers Ahead*
Story

Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi Review

Abhiram (Ram Pothineni) and Vasu (Sri Vishnu) are friends from childhood. Their bonding is in different level from the childhood itself. They never part in their life and once Vasu goes to Delhi on his professional work and during this time Abhi Ram gets to know Maha (Anupama Parameswaran) and they seem to get connected with the meeting and conversations they had. When Vasu returns they came to know that Vasu is already in love with Maha one sidedly and decided to marry her. They both decides on one thing and propose her in a meeting and asks her to choose one among them. Who is her choice? What happens next is the crux of story.

Cast and performance
Ram Pothineni as Abhi Ram is superb and he is believable in both the variations he has shown in his character for the movie. Sri Vishnu is good but he seemed to be given only silent and gentleman type characters in every movie. Anupama Parameswaran is good and she performed well in her character as Maha. Lavanya Tripathi looks nice and is good in her character as a wedding planner. Priyadarshi is funny and Kireeti Damaraju is fine.

Minus
Slow narration

Verdict
Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi is the story of friendship beginning from the childhood. A friendship is never affected when we don’t have anyone in between. It spoils when someone comes in between without anyone’s knowledge. Abhiram and Vasu are friends from childhood and they never part from each other and they try to give each other good time. It is when a person in the name of Maha comes into their lives their friendship goes downside. Misunderstandings cope up and they part from each other. This movie is all about clearing their misunderstandings and going back into their friendship like before. Kishore Tirumala has done a superb job as a director and he has done outstanding job as a writer with his funny, witty and meaningful dialogues. His narration is slow at times but situational comedy and lively scenes dissolves it. This movie again proves that good writing never goes waste and even a simple story can be made into a successful one with perfect and meaningful writing. To summarize, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi is meaningful celebration of friendship.

Movie Review: Nenu Local

CAST
Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Sachin Khedekar, Naveen Chandra, Posani Krishna Murali and Others
Director - Trinadha Rao Nakkina
Producer - Dil Raju
Banner - Sri Venkateswara Creations
Music - Devi Sri Prasad

Movie Reviews

Nani who is currently in the best phase of his career is back with Nenu Local. Trinadha Rao Nakkina who scored a hit with Cinema Chupista Maava is the director and the man with the midas touch, Dil Raju produced it. Nani has gone for a bit of makeover with a characterization that is massy yet stylish.
What is it about?

Babu (Nani) finally clears B. Tech. after a lot of attempts and people starts to question about his next step in life. Babu has no clue about what to do and at that time he bumps into Keerthi (Keerthy Suresh) and falls in love with her in first meeting. He joins MBA to impress Keerthi, who loves her father (Sachin Khedekar) so much. She decides not to get married against her father's will. How does Babu impress her and get her father's approval forms the rest of the story. There is also a little twist in the tale involving inspector Siddharth Varma (Naveen Chandra).

Performances:

Nani's performance is flawless. He has effortlessly switched his style and mannerisms to suit the massy characterization of Babu. He almost single handedly pulled this off with his impeccable comic timing. Keerthy Suresh is not just a pretty face but also can emote. She did well as Keerthi, who is caught between father and lover. Sachin Khedekar is fine as the doting father. Naveen Chandra's character gives a new dimension to the film. He is good as the sincere and charming lover.

Technicalities:

Trinadha Rao Nakkina once again takes up a plot that is similar to his debut film Cinema Chupista Maava. He follows the same template that he used in CCM where he relied on the comedy and entertainment. Trinadha Rao definitely has command over mass entertainment and this film proves that he isn't a one film wonder.

Writer Prasanna Kumar who played key role in the success of Cinema Chupista Maava has come up with funny one liners that will tickle the audience. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is an asset. Background score and a couple of songs are pretty impressive. Cinematography is good with vibrant visuals and Editing is slick. Dil Raju's production values are always top notch.

Thumbs Down:

Analysis:

Nenu Local is a 'been there seen that' kind of film that follows the commercial template of a romance/comedy. Films like these heavily rely upon the fun moments and witty one liners to give that paisa vasool feel to the audience. Director Trinadh and writer Prasanna are successful in making it a decent entertainer.
First half of the film is very humorous with lots of rib tickling comedy episodes. Youth will surely relate to B. Tech. Babu's character. Besides Nani, his parents characters played by Posani and Eeswari are also entertaining and Tulasi as Keerthi's mother provides additional bit of fun. Director and writer have realized that that there isn't much in the story to make the audience glued to the screen and hence have come up with many funny situations to give ample scope for popcorn entertainment.

Interval twist is routine and the film treads the usual path of where the protagonist is given a deadline to make his love successful. Street smartness of Babu character is impressive in parts and seem ridiculous at times. Climax of the film resembles CCM again. Despite the routine script, Nani's performance, DSP's music and entertainment quotient makes it a decent watch. It is a no-brainer film that's sole purpose is to entertain the viewers and it succeeds in doing so.

Verdict: Paisa vasool.
