Nenokkadine, yevadu released on the eve of sankrati 2014 has created good expectations before release,Mahesh babu has good Market in USA as his previous movies Dookudu,Businessman,SVSC did extremely well,Charan has got good openings for Magadeera, here are the total collections for Yevadu,Nenokkadine

Yevadu, which opened on Sat in USA, has fared very well [Sat+Sun]. Opng wknd: $ 237,170 [₹ 1.46 cr].

1Nenokkadine has embarked on a glorious start in USA. Opening wknd: $946,552 [₹ 5.82 cr].

Vamshi Paidipally tried to present a different movie with Prabhas’s Munna tasted a bitter experience at box office. His next with NTR Brindavanam, he played it safe with a routine format movie and scored a decent hit. But when it comes to his latest outing Yevadu we may as well say he missed a golden opportunity. Having a wonderful story in hand it looked like Vamshi didn’t want to take any risk thus he cooked another potboiler Yevadu.
Let’s look in to the reasons why we say this. Vamshi wanted to narrate a new story in a regular commercial format. But instead of working on adding a novel touch to the new story with his screen play magic, after presenting the new point in the first half, he completely dedicated the second half to the regular revenge format which have already seen in hundreds of films.
Instead the director could have used some of that space to work on the background of Allu Arjun and how he feels about the loss of identity and how his family or people who know about him react to the ‘new’ looking Allu Arjun. We mean a person can’t simply in a matter of few months forgo years of his life and people he knows, just like that. Things like these which could have made the film fresh and yet exciting are all completely shunned to showcase a simple revenge drama. Had Vamshi made a strong move to continue the entire film on dealing with challenges after Allu Arjun gets Charan’s face instead of a double revenge drama we think Yevadu would have become a land mark film in Telugu ciema. Do you agree with this? Or else do you have another opinion on how director missed the golden opportunity with Yevadu? Post your comment below and let us know.

With 1 Nenokkadine being released and garnering negative talk the focus has shifted now on Yevadu and the question on everyone’s mind is will this negative talk help the collections of Yevadu. This is a natural thinking that comes into everyone’s mind when two high profile films release simultaneously and one among them gets a bad talk. So for sure there is a strong possibility of this happening again. But is that applicable in the current scenario?

Let’s take a look at the films that released for Sankranthi last year. Both the films got an average talk and performed depending on the strengths of the stars associated. However in the case of 1 Nenokkadine and Yevadu both the films are similar genre and this is where slight problem arises. The target audience of both the films overlap each other. Hence unless one is extremely good the advantage that a film generally gets because of the bad word of mouth of other is reduced considerably. This is one of the primary reasons why the makers of Yevadu have been trying all along to project it as a mass entertainer.

Unlike Sankranthi last year where both the films were neck and neck with each other, most others have been following this trajectory giving memorable hits to the stars. Who can forgot the famous Mrugaraju versus Narasimhanaidu clash for Sankranthi. Similarly Mahesh Babu was at the advantageous end with his Okkadu that was pitted against Naaga starring Jr NTR. Couple of Ravi Teja films too can be named in this category that took the advantage of Balakrishna’s failure. The common thing that runs among all these films though is that they were good films on their own and whether or not they were in competition they would have been winners.

Now if Yevadu is such a winner there would be no stopping it from being a big success taking advantage of the situation as it would eliminate the overlapping problem mentioned above. Do you think it can, looking at the promos and crew involved?

Despite the fact that cops have affirmed a few times about Uday Kiran’s passing is a suicide, they are making sure they won’t leave any questions behind on this celebrity sudden death. After getting a detailed statement from Uday Kiran’s wife Vishita last week, now police has concentrated on financial angle. It was rumored that pressure from financiers could have pushed Uday to commit suicide. Police has spoken to Sangeetha and Siva who lent money for his stalled project Damit Katha Addam Tirigindi.
On the other hand, finaniers have clarified that they never loaned any funds to Uday Kiran directly. It was his manager Munna who is also the producer of the film borrowed the money from financiers. Talking to media financiers said because of this suicide act they are now suffering to repay the money which they have borrowed from some one else. Sangeetha (Financier) clarified they have never put any sort of pressure on Uday Kiran for repaying their money.
What forced Uday Kiran to commit suicide still remains an open question.

But my choice is ONE. Irrespective of the reviews I immensely enjoyed the film(except for the chases). And sukumar remains my favourite!! DSP’s back ground score and rathnavel’s visuals are extraordinary. Nazar’s death, kelly’s death, finding parents are my best moments in one!, said Rajamouli.’’

Everyone is aware of the fact that 7th Film has proved lucky for the Top Stars in Tollywood. , be it Pawan Kalyan or Mahesh Babu or Jr NTR. Now, Ram Charan joined this elite club.

Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR scored blockbusters like Kushi, Okkadu and Simhadri. Interestingly, All of them were 7th films of these big heroes.
'Yevadu' which happens to the 7th flick of Ram Charan has been declared as Sankranthi winner 2014 on Day 1 of its release.

In fact, Yevadu is a routine masala potboiler. What worked in its favour is - Ram Charan's star power & Dances; Performances by Sai Kumar, LB Sriram and Jayasudha; Bunny-Kajal cameo,  and Commercial Elements which would be liked by the masses.

As Mahesh's ONE is already declared as a disaster, Yevadu will have no competition at the Box Office. As per the trade, Cherry's masala treat is going to collect a share of Rs 50 crore in its full run.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej is coming up fully loaded with YVS Chowdary’s ‘Rey’.YVS using craze of mega family to promote his movie and the theatrical trailer of the movie was released yesterday.

The trailer was filled with some adult content dialogues and we can find some over-action sequences in the trailer which were very common in all YVS films. The story is all about a fight between guy from Jamaica and a pop-diva(Shradda Das) from America.

Sai Dharm teja will be using some utterly shocking words in this trailer. The trailer is saying lot of stuff about Sai Dharam and the way he could take on mega legacy in the coming days.

Showcasing stunning dance movies, amazing physique and enthralling dialogue delivery, Sai Dharam leads the pack of ‘Rey’ with intensity. Though it is another typical over-dosed masala film from YVS, the mega  hero is looking fresh and capable.
